Local Delivery Units
Our offender management services are separated into four Local Delivery Units which align with local authority and police boundaries:
- Surrey
- East Sussex
- Brighton and Hove
- West Sussex
Each Local Delivery Unit has a dedicated director who is responsible for local engagement and commissioning of offender services. This structure allows us to be responsive to the needs of communities, our partner agencies and offenders within those areas.
Public Protection Delivery Units
The Local Delivery Units are supported by two executive directors who lead our Public Protection Teams in Surrey and Sussex. Public protection teams work closely with partners including the police and prison service to manage offenders who are assessed as being at high risk of reoffending or harming the public.
Interventions Delivery Unit
The Interventions Delivery Unit covers Surrey and Sussex and provides services aimed at rehabilitating offenders and addressing the causes behind their criminal behaviour.
This includes the Community Payback scheme, offending behaviour programmes, drug and alcohol treatment and employment, training and education services. Interventions staff are based throughout our district offices.
